I think I skipped a month of my round up. I do apologize. With my travels, some things have just gotten away from me, but I, of course, have lots of life to share.
Also, you'll notice the blog has a new look and name. My dearest Abbie has retired from our blogging venture, but I've decided to keep on truckin' in with. I am so appreciative of the feedback and followers I have and hope y'all stay with me as I grow and evolve!
Cheers to November...here's what mine looked like!
I mentioned I did some traveling this month. More specifically, one trip was to New York City. To run the NEW YORK CITY MARATHON!!! Ohhhh wow...
Oh and guess what, I finished that damn thing. It was the hardest race I've ever run. Mostly because of the weather. Holy crap, I never knew wind could be that mean! Now I can say I have been published in the New York Times. Whhhat, for real.
And here was my fantastic cheering squad. I'm so grateful for these lovelies.
Oh post race food? Yeah, there was a lot of that. But NYC will be a whole other post...you just wait.
First day back to reality and I was begging for some veggies. A breakfast of roasted brussels and sweet potatoes with my eggs hit the spot.
I'll be starting a new series soon about cookbooks! This is my first one I'll be reviewing and it was such a great way to deal with jet lag. On the couch. In my pjs.
And finally we had some boot (ie) weather here in the Bay. I've been waiting for this...
The hubs and I went to the Rare Barrel Anniversary party in Berkeley. So many great, amazing, tasting, luscious beers.
Oh my gosh, this was fun! I partnered up with my best's (Alyson on the right) husband and flew to Florida to surprise her for her 30th birthday party and baby celebration gender reveal bash. She has no idea and it was so much fun to be there.
And it's a GIRL! I can't wait to spoil that chick.
It was a very, very quick visit, but no visit to Florida is complete without a pub sub. A pit stop was made pre-airport.
I came back to a lovely surprise by my friends/office mates to celebrate my birthday.
They decorated the day before my birthday because I had the day off on the actually day. Which was was filled with sweaty muscle making, solo dance partying, delicious bread baking, shopping perks, coffee perfection (Philz, duh), crafting happenings, bourbon tastiness, and so much love.
It was a weekend of some indulgences, so I made sure to do a quick solo turkey trot on Thanksgiving. We planned to go to an actually trot, but we kinda slept in. Whoops.
Then there was all of this goodness!
Oh and more celebrating.
With these loves.
Wait, one more celebration with this gal who knows how to brunch it up.
I truly couldn't have ask for a better month. It was so full of fun and love. December has a high bar.
Cheers to us!
