I think I mentioned last month how busy I anticipated March to be - and it was true. What a whirlwind! And because I pushed myself to hard, today I woke up with killer cold. Ugh - why does that always happen. I guess self care needs to take the lead in April. I sensing more time in my hammock and maybe a massage - but before we jump to that, here's a little bit of my March life.
I finally got to bust out my Christmas present this month!
I love that we got a little more light in the evenings this month.
Friday are for treats! And new plants babies.
We got a visit from Chris's brother and his wife this month. It was probably our last day snowboarding for the season - everything is warming up so fast!
No snowboarding day is complete without hot cocoa + sprinkles. Always say yes to sprinkles.
I flew to Boston for a work conference. I love staying in AirBnBs. They are always so cozy and I feel like I am really part of the town.
Oh, and there was a blizzard. 15 inches of mostly sideways blowing snow.
Solo, delicious dinner. I had to call around to several places because everything in the town was closed!
Back home and restocking all the things green and fresh.
Daffodils are back!
Chris and I strolled turn neighborhood book stores this month.
I love to make big smoothie bowls on the weekends. This one is steamed, then frozen cauliflower, 1/2 frozen banana, a handful of kale, some almond milk, a scoop of collagen peptides, and honey. Topped with almond butter, half a lara bar and toast coconut. Yum!
Abbie came to visit!!
I took her and her partner, Dan, on lots of hikes and we drank lots of beer. I think it was a good visit.
Our snow hike was full of adventure - and we saw BEARS! My first wildlife experience and it was pretty scary. I sang really loud to try and scare them away - ha! It worked, we lived.
Saturday games and more beverages.
And that's a wrap. Now I am off to take a hot bath and nap. Spring cold be gone!
