And just like that - boom - January is over!! The first month of a new year under our belt. How was it for you? I have to say, mine was good! I had a snowshoeing adventure, had a weekend away with Chris to Keystone and ate a boat load of shortbread chocolate chip cookies. No complaining here. Here's a little bit of my life in photos. Cheers!
Citrus season is here! I made a batch of orange basil kombucha this month and it was one ofmy favorites so far.
I treated myself to flowers.
I took a little lunch break at the library this month - I need to do this more often.
Ugh - this is the worst! Especially when you buy expensive eggs.
He made me coffee - first time in 14 years.
Symphony + Harry Potter = best movie date ever.
Rain in January in Denver and it snowed in Florida. Something - is - wrong.
Giant smoothie bowls for the win.
I went snowshoeing for the first time!
Being outdoors makes me happy.
Dream Lake was magical.
My read on the month-ish (it is a very long book so its going to take me a minute to finish it).
We had a full on snow day this month where we sat inside, watched movies all day, and pretty much did nothing. I took some photos outside, but that was the extent of my activity.
I ate a lot of these cookies.
Chris and I took a weekend trip to the mountain and visited the ice castles.
And did lots of snowboarding.
It was so nice to be away.
And also nice to come home to this view.
Thanks, January -- now let's do this February thing!
