September was a goodie. It came in all warm, shiny, and new and left a little gloomy, with the leaves changing, and with all the pumpkin stuff in the air and in my tummy. I actually had a pumpkin spiced misto this morning to kick it all in full force.
So welcome to October, land of more pumpkin stuff, lots of scary movies, which includes Hocus Pocus, maybe Practical Magic and of course Halloween and the Shinning, because, well, balance.
While the hurricane was going on in Florida, I soaked up the nice weather here in Denver and finally finished Grapes of Wrath - feeling accomplished.
My last night of summer was spent doing yoga at the Botans, It was fairly magical.
First day of fall and first day of booties!
Lake run shows.
I walked to yoga this month and treated myself to coffee after.
No caption needed on this one. FALL.
Car picnic at 12,000 feet.
I took on the task of minimizing my closet again and switching out my summer clothes. It felt weird to have to do that again.
The quickest trip to Sacramento for the weekend with my gals over at Strudel and Streusel for the International Food Blogger's Conference.
It is our yearly trip to getaway for a weekend, eat, and catch up.
Did I mention eating? This was a picnic in the park sponsored by Nugget Markets.
And then there is the goodies we get to take home!
PLUS I WON SOMETHING! A smug (insert giggle here), blender! How cute it that!
Always coffee - this is at Old Soul Co in Sacramento.
It was such a perfect California fall weekend there. It almost, ALMOST made me miss California a smig. But I am always happy to be back home in Denver.
Cheers to more good times in October!
