Everyday Erica. Everyday Life. Everyday Adventures. Homepage

Everyday Erica is a space where I can be creative and share my recipes, travels, fitness ventures, and overall life experiences with the ones I love. I currently live Denver and enjoy all the things the mountains and city have to offer. I'm a planner who has learned you can't plan for life, so I'm going to enjoy the ride while I've got this chance.

September Life.

Sunny September - you flew by! We said good-bye to summer and hello to the fall season with you. Your sunrises and sunsets were  seriously on point. Your mornings were cooler. Your evenings grew darker. You had many unexpected surprises that we so welcome. You were great, thanks for that. October, we have things planned. Let's get to it!

We came back from Italy and Chris wanted to have a coffee date!

What?! Such a treat! Isn't he adorable.

I did a solo 18 miler - the view does not suck.

Spontaneous opportunity to go see Carrie Underwood.

We were so close. Those LEGS!

Sunday spottings in Marin.

Found some candy corn hidden in my pantry. Time to make Candy Corn Bark!

Worked on my Pumpkin Spiced Creamer game this month - it is on heavy rotation right now.

I took a break from running so damn much and instead biked a shit ton. Did the MS Waves to Wine Ride in Sonoma - 50 miles day 1 and 42 day 2.

By FAR the best rest stop during the bike ride. The fresh hot DOUGHNUT station. I actually heard a guy say "if I rode the 82 or 100 miler, I'd eat them." What? Are you kidding? Eat the fresh freaking doughnut dude. WHEN WILL YOU EVER GET THIS AGAIN! (is what I wanted to scream at him - instead I rolled my eyes and ate my doughnut. and finished before him. booya).

Also - these graham smackers are damn good. But only on a bike ride, not so much in real life.

Cheers to me and the MS Society - another really great ride.

I grew my OWN arugula!!! So peppery. So good.

Sun rising.

New workout and it was crazy HARD. And I can't wait to try it again.

Fall snackies. Pumpkin harvest juice from TJs!

I took a snap chat tour through the new Anthropologie store in Walnut Creek. The store is HUGE. (find me snappin' at ericalkennedy)

I mean, I totally need this. And Abbie does too.

The light and my 'booch.

Cheese Board Pizza is everything.

And the last sunset of September. It was a good one too.

Cheers and here we go October!
