July was good to me. It lingered just the right amount and I got in some good stuff. I traveled. I explored. I saw lots of pretty fireworks and, as always, ate and drank very well. Here's to you July - and a peak into what it was all about.
I'm so thankful for our grill. We had HOT temps this month, so a lot of meals were put on this thing. Including pizzzza!
4th of July time with my guy. We biked to our pool and back for a little sunshine.
I started making smoothie bowls for breakfast. Because oatmeal isn't pleasant in an 80 degree house in the morning.
My latest Friday "happy hour."
Took the EARLIEST flight to Denver, but prepared myself with foldover PB&J sammies for airport breakfast.
Got to Colorado and got to hiking! White Ranch Park in Golden.
Of course we needed a post hike beer at Cannonball Brewing Co.
Colorado gave me a rainbow! It was actually a double rainbow, but it didn't show up very well. Score!
Speaking easy at Williams and Grant. The new old fashioned is kind of amazing.
More hikes! Royal Arch in Boulder, CO. Straight up. We heard, "you're almost there" about 90x.
Now this is a pool I can get used to! Look at that background.
And then I did this.
I've been training for some time now - but I made it all official.
Early morning quiet swims - getting them in so I can drink wine after work.
And that's it!
Here we come August!
